Since 1943, the Golden Valley Fire Department has maintained a proud tradition of community service. Each year, 50 paid, on-call firefighters respond to approximately 750-800 calls in and around the community for issues ranging from fires and automobile accidents, to medical emergencies and mutual aid assistance to other communities.
