Recognizing service and dedication for some amazing people is an important part of what we do.

There are several ways the Golden Valley Fire Relief Association honors and recognizes its members and former members throughout the year. The most prominent way is at our annual recognition dinner in April. As part of the evenings activities, we highlight retirees who chose to leave the department that year, recognize years of service in five-year increments, and spotlight former Golden Valley firefighters to learn more about our past.
